How long does it take for my syslog data to appear in Vanguard Monitor?
Once an account is provisioned, and the UTM is set up according to the configuration instructions, all subsequent events that are set for a protection profile and firewall policy to be logged will be instantly available in Vanguard.
In other words, the syslog events generated by the UTM are sent to Vanguard, and rendered in real-time. The Today view in the "Daily" pulldown enables real-time viewing of all events in all Report categories.
This should start immediately if there is traffic on the UTM. If you are not seeing events in Vanguard, please refer to the "Vanguard Monitor Troubleshooting Guide" |
