Can I have more than one account login for Vanguard Monitor?
Yes, Waterloo Systems presently allows multiple login accounts for Vanguard Monitor (within reasonable bounds). Our system enables us to segregate access to specific accounts or aggregate as many as necessary.
Here's how it works:
We collect data and store it according to the unique ID (UID), ie serial number of the UTM, in our data management system. User accounts (ie the Login/Password) that are created can have one or more of these UIDs attached to each account. Furthermore, any firewall's UID can be added to multiple user accounts
So, you can have one 'master' user account with say, 20 firewalls, then
4 other accounts with 5 each. Or any combination thereof.
Or you can have 20 firewalls with 20 accounts. Or 20 firewalls with
22 accounts (1:1 on 20 of them, and then 1 account with 2, and another
with all 20 firewalls).
Or any other combination can be accommodated within reason. |
